Is it possible to take 4 tablets of Mysimba right away, without gradually increasing the dose of the drug?

The doctor recommended that I take 4 tablets a day of mysimba from the very beginning. I wonder if this is possible?

This is possible. It does not lead to an overdose, but only increases the risk of side effects on the part of the digestive system. Usually, the dosage regimen is as follows: After starting treatment, the dose should be gradually increased over a period of 4 weeks as follows: • I week of treatment: one tablet in the morning • II week of treatment: one tablet in the morning and one tablet in the evening • III week of treatment: two tablets in the morning and one tablet in the evening • IV week of treatment and next: two tablets in the morning and two tablets in the evening The gradual increase in the dose is aimed at "accustoming" the gastrointestinal tract to the drug, which avoids the occurrence of gastrointestinal disorders, such as diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain. Therefore, if you have any doubts whether the dosage method has been determined correctly, please consult the doctor who recommended Mysimba again.
