When will Sabril be available?

Good morning. What's going on with Sabril. For a long time it has been little available, pharmacies can not even place an order in a wholesaler. When will the situation improve?

In an official announcement, Sanofi-Aventis announces a temporary reduction in the supply of Sabril 500 mg film-coated tablets for Polish. The current situation is caused by delays in the supply of the active substance vigabatrin from the supplier. The restrictions are not due to quality issues and the commercially available medicinal product Sabril can continue to be used. The forecast date of restoration of the normal mode of delivery is the first quarter of 2023. Do not alternately use the drug Sabril available in pharmacies in the form of granules, which is intended for the treatment of epileptic seizures in infants (West's syndrome).

Currently, medicines are available in 6% of pharmacies connected to the portal, which can be checked here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/68470/sabril-granulat-do-wytworzenia-plynu/apteki I have already contacted the manufacturer about problems with the availability of Sabril. As soon as I get a response, it will be posted under this post and on the product page. If you want to receive information about the availability of the drug by e-mail, it is worth subscribing to the notification on our website (in the following link, in part the last message about Sabril): https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/68470/sabril-granulat-do-wytworzenia-plynu/apteki

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
