Seronil and Seroxat are prescription drugs. Always inform your doctor about all the preparations you are using and follow the dosage instructions given by your specialist. Seronil and Seroxat are drugs from the same group - serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). This means that the therapeutic effect of both drugs may increase, but also the side effects may increase. When using drugs leading to an increase in the level of serotonin in the body, the so-called serotonin syndrome may occur, manifested m.in muscle stiffness, convulsions, confusion, irritability. Tell your doctor immediately if you are experiencing any symptoms. Combining substances belonging to the same group of drugs can be aimed at improving the therapeutic effect, reducing the doses of drugs. Drug therapies are selected for a specific patient, so the doctor evaluates the risk-effectiveness ratio of the therapy by prescribing drugs that can potentially interact. If you have any doubts about the prescribed medicines, discuss them with your doctor. I enclose materials that may be of interest: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-mozna-laczyc-leki-ze-soba
