How long can macrogols be used?

Is it possible to use macrogols every day for a longer period of time? E.g. Dulcosoft? Do they make the intestines lazy?

In the group of adults, there are no contraindications to the chronic use of macrogols. Dulcosoft https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/100121/dulcosoft-proszek-do-wytworzenia-zawiesiny/apteki#internetowe These are safe and mildly acting laxatives, with a different mechanism of action than large bowel stimulants such as senes (e.g. Xenna Extra https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/84603/xenna-extra-comfort-drazetki/apteki#internetowe, Senefol https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/70054/senefol-tabletki/apteki#internetowe) or bisacodyl (e.g. Dulcobis https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/25435/dulcobis-tabletki-powlekane/apteki#internetowe, Bisacodyl VP https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/12120/bisacodyl-vp-tabletki-powlekane/apteki#internetowe) As for children, it is not recommended to use macrogols for more than 3 months. Although they are substances recommended to children in the first place, with chronic constipation it is important to take care of a broader diagnosis of the problem of constipation.
