Hello, I take rupafin 10 mg the second day at night and in the morning I feel like after strong sleeping pills. During the day there is also increased drowsiness . Is this the case at the beginning of treatment before the body adapts to the drug or rather immediately look for another alternative to rupafin? Best regards

If you have drowsiness that significantly impedes functioning, I suggest considering another preparation (with a different active substance) that may give fewer side effects. Rupafin is a new generation drug, so it rarely causes lethargy and fatigue – as the manufacturer claims, such an effect appeared in about 10% of patients in the research phase of the drug, but if it has already occurred, it is worth finding an alternative. Currently, there is a wide range of new generation antiallergic preparations on the market of over-the-counter drugs that you can use. These include drugs with fexofenadine (e.g. Allegra https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/3456/allegra-tabletki-powlekane/apteki#internetowe, Allertec Fexo https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/106968/allertec-fexo-tabletki-powlekane/apteki#internetowe), desloratadine (e.g. Hitaxa Fast https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/89255/hitaxa-fast-tabletki-ulegajace-rozpadowi-w-jamie-ustnej/apteki#internetowe, Aleric Deslo https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/87708/aleric-deslo-active-tabletki-ulegajace-rozpadowi-w-jamie-ustnej/apteki#internetowe), levocetirizine (e.g. Lirra Gem https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/44491/lirra-gem-tabletki-powlekane/apteki#internetowe, Contrahist Allergy https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/19716/contrahist-allergy-tabletki-powlekane/apteki#internetowe)
