Hello, recently I was prescribed the drug Acnatac - gel. I have a combination skin with a tendency to oiliness in the T-zone.I use an antibiotic every day and I noticed that my complexion produces excess sebum much more and my pores are enlarged. I don't know exactly what is the reason for this. Or is it about hydration? Maybe I should stop the drug for a few days and then moisturize the skin very much? Can I use a moisturizing serum with this medicine? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Presumably, under the influence of Acnatac gel, the skin is dry and perhaps the hydro-lipid barrier does not work properly. In such a situation, the skin reacts to lipid deficiency with increased sebum production (pores may expand more with this increased work) to "regulate" the situation. Unfortunately, lipids from the sebum of the skin are not quite the lipids that the skin needs. When using Acnatac, do not use cosmetics or other skin products that could aggravate the drying effect and potential irritation of the skin (e.g. soaps, alcohol products, degreasing tonics, exfoliating preparations). However, you can use mild moisturizing preparations, and at night - rebuilding the lipid layer.
