Can I resume Staloral desensitization therapy after 2-3 weeks if it is now lacking in pharmacies?
Son 6 years old, takes staloral alternaria 100% 3 doses daily. Yesterday I learned from many pharmacies that the drug has a delay in wholesalers and it is nowhere to be found ... one pharmacy proposed a deadline of the end of June. Thus, the son will be about 2-3 weeks without the drug. And what's next? Contact with a doctor is very difficult. Should I give the medicine later? The vials ordered at the pharmacy are red-supportive. Please help

I am afraid that in such a situation contact with the attending physician is inevitable. Perhaps, due to the lack of the drug in pharmacies, the specialist will prescribe another method of treatment. Nevertheless, it is possible to return to therapy after 2-3 weeks. However, it may be necessary to reduce the dose of the drug for the first days after the resumption of therapy. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to consult an allergist.
