21.05 I glued the first patch, 26.05 peeled off and glued the second. 31.05 I noticed that it began to peel off me, I glued a piece of dressing patch on it so that it would not peel off completely. When should I apply the 3rd patch? And in what place is it best to glue it so that it does not peel off so quickly?

If Evra peels off for less than 24 hours, re-apply the patch in the same place or apply a new patch. With this procedure, contraceptive protection remains preserved. If the patch peels off for more than 24 hours, the first patch from the new package should be applied and this day will be the new "Patch Change Day". In addition, it is recommended to use additional contraceptive protection for the next 7 days. According to the summary of product characteristics, additional adhesives should not be applied to the Evra patch, as the patch itself may have a significantly reduced effectiveness when it is not completely adhered to the skin. Therefore, before applying another patch, it would be advisable to perform a pregnancy test to exclude pregnancy. The next patch should be the first patch from the new package and it would be recommended to stick it as soon as possible. For the first 7 days, additional contraceptive methods should be used, e.g. a condom. The Evra patch should be applied to clean, hairless and undamaged skin in the area of the buttocks, abdomen, upper arm or upper torso. It should be remembered to stick it in such a place that tight clothing does not rub the patch. In addition, in the area where the patch will be applied, do not apply makeup, creams, oils, powders and other cosmetics that could affect the sticking of the patch to the skin.
