Can Asertin cause the occurrence of a pituitary gland microadenoma?
Could asertin taken for 11 months after half a dose of 50mg cause microadenomas? After discontinuation of medication, I was diagnosed with an increase in PRL caused by microadenoma and previously it did not make itself felt.

The causes of the occurrence of pituitary microadenomas are unknown. It is assumed that the occurrence of microadenomas has a genetic basis. However, the literature reports that Asertin can cause an increase in the concentration of prolactin in the blood.
