Can switching from Madinette to Evra patches interfere with contraceptive effects?

Hello. I have been wearing the first Evra patch for 2 days. I changed contraception from madinette. I weigh about 90 kg, will my contraception be disturbed? Insufficient? Is there anything else I need to do? In addition, my hands are shaking terribly and my head hurts. Should this bother me or is it normal at the beginning of the patch? Thank you in advance for your reply :)

Switching from Madinette tablets to Evra patches may impair the contraceptive effect if the start of use did not occur on day 1 of withdrawal bleeding. In this situation, within the first 7 days of applying the Evra patch, additional contraceptive protection, e.g. a condom, should be used. If the application of the Evra patch occurred on the first day of withdrawal bleeding, contraceptive protection was maintained. According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, the side effects of Evra include tremors and headaches. The severity of side effects may vary depending on the current condition and individual characteristics of the patient. In the event that they will be very annoying, you can go to a gynecological consultation to modify the therapy. More information about the use of contraceptive patches can be read in the article linked below: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/plastry-antykoncepcyjne
