Can I gain weight with short-term use of Metypred?

Hi I have prescribed the drug Metypred 4 mg. 1x3 tablets for 4 days 1x2 tablets for 4 days 1x1 tablets for 4 days. The drug was prescribed to prevent a strong allergy. I exercise all the time, I keep a diet and my question. Is there a risk that he will gain weight using this drug? Is this how it works? Maybe with a short therapy it does not threaten me?

Metypred may increase the risk of, for example, increased appetite or water retention. These are some of the reported side effects that can lead to weight gain in the patient. The use of small doses of the drug for a short time reduces the risk of side effects. In addition, the use of a proper diet and exercise also minimizes the risk of weight gain: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/48768/metypred-tabletki/ulotka/34842 Any drug used can cause side effects. This does not mean that every patient will experience them.
