What is caused by tickling in the anus in an adult?

Hi, I have a question about the fact that I felt tickling in the anus together with light pain. (For exactly 4 days) After which the symptoms subsided and another 3 days passed without symptoms. And this tickling came back again what is it?

There are several hypothetical causes of itching in the area. The first of these can be pinworm, which is a parasitic disease popular in children. Although these parasites are most often found in children, adults can also suffer from it. Please read this article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/wszy-owsiki-i-inne-przedszkolne-pasozyty In addition to pinworm, anal itching may indicate diseases such as hemorrhoids or, less frequently, anal fissure (in this case, however, itching is one of many ailments). I refer to the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leki-na-hemoroidy I suggest that you perform a test for the presence of pinworms and a stool culture for the presence of parasites and a test for occult blood. Next, it is worth consulting an internist or directly with a proctologist.
