Can I stop taking Alventa?

Can I stop taking Alventa that I have been taking for 10 days and replace it with a Cital that I took three years ago and felt good after it?

Any modifications in the treatment of depression should be made after consultation with the attending physician familiar with your current state of health in detail. Changing therapy is not within the competence of the pharmacist. Please remember that the therapeutic effect of antidepressants (here: Alventa) is usually achieved after about 2-4 weeks. but it is recommended to use antidepressants for a minimum of half a year to a year, while people with relapses of depression take the above-mentioned drugs for many years. 10 days is far too short a time to assess the effects of therapy. According to the Alventa Summary of Product Characteristics, withdrawal symptoms are common in the event of abrupt discontinuation of treatment. The most commonly observed withdrawal symptoms include dizziness, sensory disturbances (including paresthesia), sleep disturbances, agitation or anxiety, nausea and/or vomiting, tremor, headache. Usually, these symptoms are mild in nature. Withdrawal symptoms usually occur within the first few days of discontinuation of treatment. I enclose a detailed description of the preparation you are asking about: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/4034/alventa-kapsulki/ulotka/128492
