Do I need to repeat the basic FSME-Immun vaccination schedule?

In 2010, I received the 3rd dose of the vaccine. I didn't take any booster dose afterwards. Is it necessary to repeat all doses or is it enough to give a booster dose?

You did not give the name of the medicine in the question. If the question concerns FSME-Immun marked in the tags, please read on. According to the vaccination schedule described in the summary of product characteristics of FSME-Immun, the first booster dose should be administered after completion of the basic regimen after 3 years and subsequent booster doses after 5 years. In the event that the time intervals between individual doses are too large, the preparation may not provide full protection against tick-borne encephalitis. However, it is indicated that the administration of 1 booster dose is sufficient to continue the vaccination schedule. There is no need to repeat the basic vaccination schedule: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/31580/fsme-immun-0-5-ml-iniekcja/ulotka/119527 In the case of people, e.g. with immunodeficiencies, each situation is considered individually by the attending physician.
