Hello, Daughter -6 years old- has allergies (we are still before the tests). The allergist wrote Deslodyne, but we do not see any improvement. Still the daughter has eyes reddened and watery, sometimes puffy upper eyelids, runny nose and rash on the body. from today we use Allertec 1 x 10 drops. We hope to improve✊️ Is Allertec better and more effective than Deslodyna? Please help, because for a month we have not been able to get out of this allergy. Thank you in advance.

Allertec in drops shows comparable effectiveness to Deslodin. Allertec contains an antiallergic substance - cetirizine, while Deslodine - desloratadine. These drugs belong to the same group of antiallergic drugs. It is known from practice, however, that despite the fact that these drugs have a similar effect on the body, it has been noted that the selection of an antiallergic drug is a personal matter - some patients may respond better to one drug, and other patients to another drug. In other words - the selection of the most effective antiallergic preparation in a given patient is often the result of trial and error methods of using various antiallergic drugs and choosing this, to which the organism responds best. Perhaps, the preparation originally recommended was not the one to which your daughter responded best. It is possible that in the case of Allertec, the body's reaction will be more effective.
