Can CBD and ashwagande oil be combined with Cital?

Hello, I am currently coming off Cital tablets, I am on a dose of 10 mg per day. At the same time, anxiety and depression are increasing, I wonder if this is the effect of descending. I plan to use a mixture of Ashwaganda Extract and CBD Oil after the descent, as I have read that the agents can be combined and have antidepressant and anti-anxiety effects. Therefore, I wanted to ask how soon after the descent I can apply them, or maybe I can start now due to unpleasant symptoms? Thank you in advance

Ashwaganda and CBD oil have m.in stress-reducing, improving sleep quality, anxiolytic effects. CBD oil should not be included in the therapy together with Cital, because the oil inhibits the group of liver enzymes (cytochrome P450 isoenzymes) responsible for the metabolism of many drugs m.in citalopram (Cital). This effect may lead to an increase in the concentration of citalopram in the blood and an increase in its side effects. Citalopram after regular use remains in the bloodstream for about 7-10 days, after which time you can start using CBD oil. There is currently no information available about cital's interaction with ashwaganda. Due to your increasing anxiety and depression associated with discontinuation of the drug, I would recommend contacting your doctor to discuss treatment. The introduction of a herbal preparation, which is ashwaganda, at the moment may not be enough to alleviate the side effects that occur.
