Can I apply Bactroban nasal ointment to the child with the simultaneous use of fenistil drops. The child has a recurrent yellow runny nose (especially after getting up in the morning, during the day almost not at all). The doctor prescribed 3 weeks ago a course of antibiotic Amoksiklav due to cough audible in the bronchi and runny nose. Qatar, however, has returned. In both cases, there is no fever.

Bactroban nasal ointment does not interact with Fenistil. These preparations can be combined. Nevertheless, Bactroban is a prescription-only drug, so its use in a child should be decided by a pediatrician. Bactroban nasal ointment should be introduced into the anterior nostrils 2 to 3 times a day for at least 5 days. The treatment should not last more than 10 days.
