Should I continue to use Izovag if there was pain, itching, burning and redness after the first application?

Good morning, yesterday I started using the drug Izovag. Moments after the application, I felt a very big itch and burning, the entire vulva and vagina, making it impossible to sleep. This is also accompanied by high redness. The pain also persists the next day. Should I take another dose or discontinue the medicine? I asked the doctor a question, but I haven't got an answer yet. Thanks in advance for your help! Best regards

Perhaps you are allergic to the ingredients of the preparation. If you apply the drug today and the above-mentioned side effects occur again, you should consult a gynecologist who will decide on further proceedings. Side effects of drugs should be reported to the doctor, which we write about here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane
