Is Xarelto 20 mg refundable for people over 75 years of age?

Is Xarelto 20mg for blood thinning /instead of Varfin/ for a person over 75 years of age is reimbursed. I know that since the month of May there is a new list of reimbursed drugs. What inhaled drugs are included in the new reimbursement list. This applies to my asthmatic husband. Regards.U.K

Xarelto 20 mg is reimbursed in indications such as: - prevention of deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism after acute deep vein thrombosis in adults, - treatment of deep vein thrombosis in adults, - treatment of pulmonary embolism and prevention of recurrent deep vein thrombosis in adults. If, in the opinion of the doctor, the patient meets the reimbursement indication and is over 75 years of age, Xarelto 20 mg op. 14 tabl. is issued free of charge.
