A sick child has been waiting for the drug Gammalon since February 2022, the pharmacy does nothing to speed up delivery, refuses to give the name of the wholesaler that imports the drug because I wanted to ask them for help, what should I do?

We are also waiting for Gammalon of February 2022. During the pharmacy informed me about 2 msc waiting and the price of about 300 zł per package. The child's condition is already deep enough that he needs to get this medicine, so I called the pharmacy first... of course, I was told to wait and I didn't get information about who was importing this drug. I decided to drill down further and I called the National Administration dealing with medicines... of course, they are very sorry that such a situation takes place and will try to do something but of course they can not do too much because how else would ... And this is where the actions begin... 2 days later, a phone call from the same ministry calls me and a kind lady says that it was very difficult to find an entity that could bring medicine for my child ... super great joy so I ask about the price ... 2000 zł for 1 package llus commission for the pharmacy 😱🤯 suddenly it turned out that the drug can be imported but someone has to earn a lot on it ... the drug in Japan costs PLN 120 per package and is available but pharmacies from Japan do not send it abroad so you can look for a Japanese who will agree to buy us the drug and send, for example, by COURIER UPS or Fedex to Polish where the shipping cost is 600 zl🤣🤣🤣 This is stealing from people with disabilities and one big scandal!

The time limit for prescription for medicinal products or foodstuffs for particular nutritional uses imported from abroad as part of the target import may not exceed 120 days from the date of issue of the prescription. Please contact the National Health Fund (NFZ) - perhaps you will get information there on how to speed up the whole procedure.

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
