Good morning. He takes axia plus tablets. He takes the tablets around 20.00. After 2 hours after taking the tablet, vomiting due to food poisoning appeared. After the vomiting stopped, I took another dose around 4.00 about 7.00 a.m. vomiting appeared again. What should I do in a cancer situation to keep the tablet working.

If gastrointestinal disorders occur within 3-4 hours after taking the tablet, the next dose should be taken within 12 hours of the onset of symptoms. In both cases, vomiting occurred less than 3-4 hours after taking the tablet, so its effect may be ineffective. Take the next dose as soon as possible after the gastrointestinal symptoms have disappeared. If this occurs later than 24 hours after the last intake of the correct dose of the drug, contraceptive protection may be reduced, then additional contraceptive protection should be used for the next 7 days.
