Hello! I use Evra patches for 6 months, and more precisely I currently have 3 patches from 6 months. In addition, he has been taking an antibiotic since Thursday and the next day spotting appeared. I don't know what that means. Should I worry? What's going on?

Spotting can have many causes - it can be caused by an ongoing infection or the use of an antibiotic. The antibiotic may affect the activity of hormone-metabolizing enzymes in the liver - hence protection during antibiotic therapy may be reduced and spotting and mid-cycle bleeding may occur.
