According to the Summary of Product Characteristics of Aerius, the dosage for children of this age is 2.5ml. I do not find information in the medical literature regarding the increase in dosage at the time of worsening of symptoms. Only a doctor can decide on a possible change in the dosage regimen, taking into account the previous course of the disease.
