Is spotting when using Evra patches normal?

Good morning, I have been taking Evra patches for 5 months. Everything has been fine so far but suddenly this month with the second patch from the package I have a slight bleeding and spotting. Is this normal?

Midcyclic bleeding and spotting are common side effects that occur when using hormonal contraceptives. Sometimes the cause of their occurrence may be, for example, infection or stress. They do not affect the effectiveness of contraception. If you use the patches correctly, there is no reason to worry. If the situation is repeated in subsequent cycles, then you should consult a doctor.
