The doctor prescribed me the following medications: Lamilept, Preato, Fevarin. I haven't had personality tests done and Lamilept is on epilepsy that I don't have and bipolar disorder. As I read the descriptions of this disease, I have all the time dol, I do not have energy flows. Is Lamileot only bipolar and if I do not have this disease then this drug can harm me? Please let me know

Registered indications for the use of Lamilept are epilepsy and bipolar disorder. This does not mean that the psychiatrist cannot recommend this medicine for a purpose other than that mentioned in the package leaflet (especially if a combination of medicines is used) if it appears from his knowledge, experience and clinical situation of the patient that such treatment may be beneficial. Lamotrigine (the active ingredient in Lamilept) may have a stabilising and potentially relaxing effect on other medicines prescribed in parallel. If something in the prescribed therapy worries you, it is best to contact the doctor who diagnosed you directly - he should present what therapeutic benefits can be expected from the proposed treatment.
