Hello. I have vaginal mycosis. From the doctor I got vaginal cream gynozol. I accepted him on Friday evening (for the night). Today it's been 3 days since taking the drug and I still feel a burning sensation. Should I make an appointment with a doctor or wait a little longer? I will add that today on the insert I noticed a white, dense, odorless discharge, a bit like cottage cheese.

In vivo studies have shown that Gynazol cream stays on the surface of the vaginal mucosa for an average of about 4.2 days, and in vitro studies have shown that the active substance, butoconazole, is released from this form of the drug for 6 days. If you do not notice any improvement after 6 days, you should contact your gynecologist and repeat the vaginal culture to make sure that there is no infection with other microorganisms and to confirm the original diagnosis.
