Am I protected from pregnancy if I vomited in the interval between blister and?

Good morning. On the 1st day of the 7-day break between the new blister of contraceptive pills, intercourse occurred without additional protection. What if vomiting occurred during this 7-day break? Am I equally well protected against pregnancy?

Vomiting on days when you are not taking the drug does not affect the protection against pregnancy. Vomiting while using contraception is only relevant if it occurs within 3-4 hours of taking a hormone pill. In such a situation, the drug may not be absorbed properly and will not work. Protection against pregnancy during the break between the blister and is maintained if you start the next pack of tablets in a timely manner and without delay.
