A few days ago I had laparoscopic removal of the gallbladder. I take neoparin. After the 3rd dose, I developed petechiae on the inside of my thighs and more delicate ones on my stomach. They do not itch,do not hurt, they are flat burgundy and purple. Could it be an allergic reaction to the drug? I'm afraid if it's not a symptom of thrombocytopenia. Please advise.

This symptom may indicate thrombocytopenia. The observed side effect of the treatment should be reported as soon as possible to the doctor who will decide on further proceedings. We also write about why it is so important to report side effects of drugs here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane
