According to the Safety Data Sheet, Ospamox coated tablets should be swallowed with a liquid (e.g. a glass of water). They cannot be chewed, chewed or crushed. Dissolution of the tablet will affect the bioavailability of the drug and weaken the bactericidal effect of the antibiotic.
