Can I still tend to gain weight with copper inserts?

I have been taking slinda birth control pills for 3 months now and I have gained about 8kg. My gynecologist offered me ginetta or TT380 copper inserts. Can I still be prone to gaining weight while wearing these insoles? Are these inserts safe for nulliparous women?

Non-hormonal inserts will not exert systemic effects, because they act only within the uterine cavity, releasing copper ions there. So they will not affect the "tendency to gain weight". However, it is worth considering whether in fact only the beginning of Stinda therapy was the only reason for the increase in body weight - perhaps also in some way you changed your lifestyle or diet.
