I run out of medication (Medikinet CR) before my next visit to a psychiatrist. He said he couldn't write me a prescription without a visit. Am I able to do anything in this situation so as not to stop the treatment?

From a pharmaceutical point of view, I can only inform you that on Medikinet CR a pharmacist cannot issue a pharmaceutical prescription, let alone dispense such a drug without a prescription. The simplest solution is to make a visit and get a prescription before running out of medicine. The amount of medication prescribed should be sufficient from visit to visit and the psychiatrist should take this into account in his prescribing. If the psychiatrist knows that the drug is running out, I believe that he should admit you at a time that does not threaten to stop the therapy. Alternatively, your GP may help if you have complete medical records for your treatment with Medikinet CR. However, it is difficult for me to answer for him whether he wants to prescribe such a prescription.
