Can I use lactulose for ulcerative colitis?
Wzjg Can I use lyaltulose on an ad hoc basis? I know that with Crohna it may be inadvisable, and how is it with an ulcerative intestine? Thank you for your reply.

The use of lactulose is contraindicated in patients with ulcerative colitis - due to the increased risk of perforation of the gastrointestinal tract.
