Is it possible to replace Ursocam tablets with Ursofalk suspension?
The doctor prescribed me Ursocam in tablets. Unfortunately, I have difficulty swallowing them even when I divide them into smaller parts. Instead of Ursocam, could I ask my doctor to switch to Ursofalk suspension? From what I have seen this suspension is very expensive, so I would also like to ask for information on what dose I would have to take this suspension?if Ursocam I have to take 2x1 tablet a day.

Ursofalk capsules are white capsules with size 0 (i.e. about 23 mm long and about 8 mm in diameter): https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/81050/ursofalk-kapsulki/ulotka/3717 However, in the case of Ursocam, the manufacturer did not specify the size of the tablets: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/81048/ursocam-tabletki/ulotka/90110

Some of them also publish the price of the product. Prices are given by pharmacies voluntarily. Due to the high competition, not all institutions provide us with such information. In the event that the pharmacy in question does not publish the price of the drug, you can contact the facility in person and ask about the price by phone.

In case of difficulty swallowing tablets, switching from Ursocam to Ursofalk oral suspension seems perfectly justified. Drugs contain the same active substance. The amount of the medicine contained in 2 tablets of Ursocam corresponds to 10 ml of Ursofalk oral suspension (1 tablet of Ursocam = 5 ml of Ursofalk). With the dosage method given in the question, 1 pack of the drug (250ml) is enough for 25 days of treatment.
