Can I take two antibiotics Unasyn and Cipronex at the same time?
I have enterococus faecalis and I started taking unasyn ampicillin according to the antibiogram. I still have ecoli sensitive to cipronex can I take these two antibiotics at the same time? Do you stop unasyn and start cipronex?

According to current medical literature, there should be no adverse interactions between these preparations that are harmful to health or the effects of drugs. Do not stop using the antibiotic - Unasyn, because it may result in the re-multiplication of bacteria. The relapse of the disease may be more severe, and the bacteria will become resistant to the antibiotic. Due to the fact that Unasyn and Cipronex are prescription drugs, therefore the legitimacy and need for their use in therapy is assessed by the doctor. Do not use these preparations without consulting a doctor.
