Is the antibiotic Macromax necessary for coughing with green secretions and is it safe?
Wit. I have a wet cough with green discharge. No other symptoms. The doctor immediately prescribed the antibiotic macromax. For 6 days. Is this such cough immediately need to take an antibiotic?and is it safe?I am allergic and allergic to several drugs. But I can duomox amoksiklav augmentin amotaks. Will I be fine after this drug?

Green discharge may indicate bacterial superinfection, which probably results in the doctor's decision to include an antibiotic in the treatment. Please specify what drugs you are allergic to, and in the future I also encourage you to inform the attending physician about all allergies, which will allow you to choose a safe and effective pharmacotherapy. Macromax contains azithromycin, which means that it should not be used in people who are allergic to macrolide or ketolide antibiotics. It is not possible to predict 100% whether a given drug will not cause side effects in the patient. If severe effects occur, the drug should be discontinued and other treatment should be selected.
