Can I reduce the dose myself or discontinue it completely?

I am prescribed the drug Zinat 500, already after the first dose my head began to hurt. Secondly, the evening headache intensified a lot and I started to vomit. I drank a lot of water to flush the drug out of my body a little. I'm afraid to take another dose of the drug. Can I reduce the dose myself or discontinue completely. The headache was enormous. Now the pain decreased and passed partially to the left maxillary sinus.

Please stop taking Zinnat completely, as halving the dose will not have the desired effect - neither will it reduce the side effects nor control the symptoms of the disease. Please also consult your doctor immediately so that you can continue the therapy with another medicine. This can be done, e.g. by phone: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/blog/jak-telefoniczne-otrzymac-recepte-i-zwolnienie-lekarskie Please note that side effects of medicines should be reported to the doctor or individually. By reporting side effects, you help other patients, including your loved ones, who may also need the same medicine one day. This step also allows you to gather more information on the safety of medicinal products and update data on them. We wrote about how to do this here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane
