I don't know whether to take the drug if it can cause vomiting and I have reflux?
Hello. I have severe shortness of breath and cough allergy probably to the dog. The doctor prescribed me this drug, but I have esophageal reflux. The manufacturer points out that vomiting may occur. I do not know whether to take the drug? Thank you

You did not write what medicine, which basically makes it impossible to give an answer. From a pharmaceutical point of view, I can only inform you that all possible side effects are described in the leaflet of the drug, but this does not mean that each of them will appear in all patients. The drug documentation gives the statistical frequency with which the occurrence of a given side effect was observed. For example, "up to 1 in 10 people" means that up to one in 10 patients have experienced a given side effect and 9 have not experienced it to any extent. If you have severe shortness of breath, it seems that alleviating them is a priority, because in extreme form they can be dangerous, and possible vomiting may not appear at all. However, if you have doubts, please contact your doctor, because in this situation only a person with full information about your health condition can make decisions regarding the withdrawal from the prescribed prescription therapy. If there is a suspicion of allergy, then the most justified is the causal procedure, that is, the absence of contact with the coat and epidermis of the animal.
