Can the drug cause diarrhea

There is no particular diet when taking Eliquis. It is generally an anticoagulant diet that is based on the restriction of certain nutrients, mainly vitamin K interacting with the drugs used. The components of the diet that have an anticoagulant effect and thus thin the blood include flax seeds, ginger, angelica, sage, chamomile, papaya, pineapple, tomato juice. Extracts and oils from various plants, e.g. oil obtained from cloves, also have a blood-thinning effect. You should also be careful with taking dietary supplements, especially those containing vitamin A, E and omega-3 fatty acids, which have an anticoagulant effect. The use of ginkgo biloba (Ginkgo biloba) together with anticoagulants also enhances the effect of drugs and the anticoagulant effect. During anticoagulant therapy, alcohol consumption and smoking are contraindicated, as they intensify the effect of drugs and may cause hemorrhagic complications.
