The onset of treatment with SSRIs (and dose escalation) can be difficult for the patient. Often there are various side effects that pass after a few or a dozen days, when the body gets used to the drug. M.in, side effects such as nausea (the most common side effect), headaches, sensory disturbances, paresthesia or agitation and nervousness can be observed. Your description shows that you experience just such side effects of sertraline (Aposerty), which often occur in patients. It is possible that your body needs more time to get used to the drug. Please do not stop taking the medicine on your own, and in the meantime try to make an appointment with your doctor and give him information about your well-being. Your doctor will decide whether to introduce another dose more slowly into your treatment or whether to add any medicine to alleviate the side effects of Aposerty. The drug can be taken with or without food, so if you feel nauseous, please take Aposerta while eating. This should relieve the feeling of nausea. Side effects of the preparation can also be reported to the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products or the Entity responsible for a given drug.
