The mebendazole contained in Vermox starts to work shortly after administration, but it may take up to several days to kill all parasites. Please remember that in order for the treatment to be effective, all household members and pets should be subjected to it. It is also important that the drug does not act on the eggs of parasites, so to prevent recurrence of the disease, after 2 weeks it is recommended to give a second dose of the drug.
