To @Kamilla: Stroke and diabetes are not contraindications to taking Ibesan. Please keep a time interval from other relevant medicines. Ibesan contains clay with adsorbent properties. So it will interfere with the absorption of other drugs.
Is it possible to give ibesan to a stroke survivor who is taking diabetes and insulin medication?

Yes, you can use them simultaneously - these are preparations with a different composition and mechanism of action. Ibesan are capsules used to relieve the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. It contains natural mineral clay and simethicone, which regulate intestinal peristalsis and bind residual gases, microorganisms and toxins in the intestines. The preparation relieves abdominal pain, diarrhea and flatulence and prevents constipation. Ibesan butyrate is a food for special medical purposes for dietary management in inflammatory bowel diseases (e.g. Crohn's disease), functional disorders of the intestine (e.g. IBS irritable bowel syndrome) and post-antibiotic diarrhea in children over 7 years of age and adults. It contains sodium butyrate - a substance naturally produced in the intestines, which is the main source of energy for colonocytes - cells of the intestinal epithelium.
