Can I start taking the antibiotic Sumamed in this situation?

Hello. A week ago I had a swab done for covid-negative. During the telecounseling I received the antibiotic Sumamed. At the moment when I should take the antibiotic, I felt better and did not use it. I noticed that every day when I wake up I am weak. Purulent runny nose still occurs. When coughing, phlegm also breaks off. In this situation, can I start starting the prescribed antibiotic??.

The antibiotic can be used to treat sinusitis in a situation where, in addition to the typical symptoms of sick sinuses, i.e. stuffy nose, headache, spreading sinus pain, there is a high fever and purulent runny nose. A thorough assessment of the nature of the patient's ailments is made by a doctor who, based on the anamnesis, ultimately decides which antibiotic to choose. In this case, I encourage you to consult your doctor, who will recommend the appropriate therapeutic treatment for you.
