This can happen if the patient chokes while sipping a tablet. The cause is usually greedily drinking or speaking while sipping. Symptoms of such accidental hit of the tablet into the respiratory tract are sudden breathing disorders, cough, gag reflexes, voicelessness, wheezing, and in extreme cases cyanosis. It's about the contraceptive pill
and is it possible for the tablet to fall into the nose when swallowing without any symptoms? I ask because I once had such a situation with a piece of food, unfortunately I do not remember how it looked like

Yes, this applies to all types of tablets.
The same applies to the contraceptive pill which is small? After swallowing I had a strange feeling but there was no cough.
