Instead of Trittico XR in the pharmacy, should I be given Trittico CR as a replacement for Trazodone?
Do Trazodone Glenmark and Trittico XR work the same? I use Trazodone for insomnia, should instead of trittico XR in the pharmacy be given to me trittico CR as a replacement for Trazodone?

Although Trazodone Glenmark and Trittico XR (or Trittico CR) contain the same active substance, due to the different release profile of the active substance from the tablet, the medicines should not be used interchangeably and the pharmacist must not dispense Trittico CR (prolonged haulage tablets)/Trittico XR (prolonged fluorescent film-coated tablets) instead of Trazodone (immediate-release tablets).
