Is it possible to apply the Evra patch at the site of the scar after the cesarean section?

Can Evra contraceptive patches be applied to a scar after a cesarean section? Before pregnancy, when using the patches, I stuck them on the lower abdomen. Now I have returned to this method of contraception (I am 10 months after giving birth), but after sticking the patch I saw that I glued it so that in part it is on the scar. Will it therefore work properly? But should I paste it?

By sticking the patch on the scar after a cesarean section, protection may be reduced. According to the manufacturer: EVRA should be applied to clean, dry, hairless and undamaged healthy skin around the buttocks, abdomen, outer upper arm or upper torso in a place where tight clothing will not rub the patch. You can peel off this patch and stick a new one in another place (peel it off on the day when you would normally peel off the patch placed on the scar - the day of changing the patch then remains unchanged) or leave the current patch (the one stuck on the scar) and use an additional form of contraception for the entire period of using this patch (for 7 days).
