Can I take Flunarizinum WZF with Pramolan and Citabax 10 at the same time? Recently, I have been taking Pramolan and Citabax 10. Recently, a neurologist assigned me flunarizinum WZF (2 tablets a day for the evening. I wonder if I can safely attach it to taking those medications or is it better to wait? On the flunarizinum WZF leaflet and on the Internet there is information that it should not be combined with drugs that inhibit the nervous system and hypnotics. Please advise. Thank you

There should be no adverse drug interactions between Flunarizinum WZF and other drugs. There are some interactions between pramolan and Citabax mentioned in the question. Due to their nature and degree of severity, however, they are not a contraindication to the simultaneous use of these drugs. If combination therapy with Citabax is initiated, it is advisable to reduce the dose to 1/4 or 1/3. Combination therapy also requires regular monitoring of potential side effects (m.in dry mouth, excessive drowsiness, confusion). It should be remembered that the biological half-life of Citabax is about a day, which is why the described interaction may also develop after discontinuation of the preparation. It is also worth remembering about the interactions of the drugs used with food. Alcohol consumption during treatment can cause excessive drowsiness. Alcohol also intensifies the depressive effect of drugs on the central nervous system. Psychomotor disorders may also occur.
