To my knowledge, Amoksiklav tablets should not cause an increase in blood glucose levels. Another situation is, for example, a powdered drug to prepare a suspension and add juice or milk to it - then juice or milk can significantly increase the level of sugar. In contrast, disease, bacterial infection, fever can contribute to the appearance of higher blood glucose levels and more difficult lowering. If your mother has type 2 diabetes and is being treated with oral tablets or has not been instructed by a doctor how to proceed with such a blood glucose result (380 mg / dl), she should urgently contact her doctor - especially if nausea, vomiting, distraction, dizziness, faster heartbeat have appeared. It is difficult to compare the result of 99 mg / dl and 380 mg / dl without knowing what type of diabetes the patient has, what drugs he uses and when the measurements were taken - at what time of the day, before / after eating, on an empty stomach, etc. I will only add that such a level of sugar is lowered by drugs and irrigation is recommended. Physical activity is not indicated. I leave a video that in the future may clarify a few issues related to diabetes: https://youtu.be/1-aueDuKKdU
