Nie należy spodziewać się powrotu leku Metotab do aptek. "Zgodnie z wymogami Komisji Europejskiej lek Metotab nie może być już pakowany w buteleczki, konieczne jest pakowanie leku w blistry. W związku z powyższym producent nie zdecydował się na zmianę formy opakowania i dalszą produkcję tego leku, gdyż wiązałoby się to również z tym, iż lek nie byłby już refundowany. Konsekwencją tych decyzji jest zakończenie produkcji leku Metotab, nie będzie on już dłużej dostępny na polskim rynku".
