Na kilka dni po podaniu zastrzyku z kwasu hialuronowego może pojawić się ból stawu, do którego preparat został zaaplikowany. Jeśli zastrzyk został wykonany prawidłowo, ból powinien niebawem minąć, aby go złagodzić stosować można okłady chłodzące np. z kompresów żelowych lub żele o działaniu chłodzącym.
