Zgodnie z Charakterystyką Produktu Leczniczego lek Doxycyclinum nie uszkodzić szpiku kostnego. Natomiast w rzadkich przypadkach mogą pojawić się zaburzenia krwi i układu chłonnego: niedokrwistość hemolityczna, trombocytopenia, neutropenia, czy eozynofilia.
Podczas stosowania antybiotyku przez dłuższy czas należy
systematycznie przeprowadzać kontrolę obrazu krwi, jak również testy czynności wątroby i nerek.
